When did you switch your permanent address/license to NY?

Going through admin work of moving addresses and I realized that most states give you a nominal amount of time to get a new license and establish yourself there. Granted, no one’s probably checking, but for those who stayed in NY when did you get a new license and move all your billing addresses?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't a specific mention of when individuals switched their permanent address or license to New York. However, it is noted that living without a permanent address can be challenging, especially for administrative tasks like taxes, mail, or applying for a mortgage. States generally provide a nominal timeframe to update your license and establish residency, but enforcement may vary. If you're planning to stay in New York long-term, it’s advisable to handle these updates sooner rather than later to avoid complications.

Have lived in the city ~4.5 years and still haven’t —not really feasible with the NY style of moving apartments every now and then IMO. Better to keep it as your family house or somewhere stable but obv different story if you’re older/more established
