Where should there be more checks and balances?

It's come to my attention due to recent events, the perplexingly and blatant exitance of useless mid management Karen's and HR personnel. They both have similar profiles, but what's more important is that they spend the whole day talking and not doing shit.

"I heard Mark got engaged"

"OMG"

"Yes we totally should start doing this to improve corporate culture"

What the fuck are they getting paid for? It's nothing short of fascinating how these parasitic bitches get themselves ingrained in corporate organizations then are able to stay for decades.

I'm of the opinion there should be tangible guidelines enacted to push them into the light so to speak. Which category should be faced with more checks and balances to prevent the likelihood of their parasitizing exitance in businesses?

there should be more checks and balances in many things

  1. UFC judging - how in the fuck did reyes lose the decision against jon jones
  2. UFC matchmaking - no one wants another conor fight unless they have more neckbeard hairs than neurons, stop it. give me dariush makachev and either oliveira v. the winer or oliveira volkanovski. and I know he's new, but I want chimaev colby then chimaev usman if he wins
  3. the space between beach chairs - look buddy, I got here 3 hours before you and you have 100 yards of empty sand, don't fucking sit right next to me
  4. the amount of commercial time given to car insurance companies - we get it liberty, you have a dad bod virgin and a dinosaur as your spokespeople, no one gives a fuck, I just wanna watch this youtube video of someone getting barreled
  5. the amount of pages in jordan peterson books - bro, I became an instant fan back in 2016 or 2018 or whenever it was, but the latest book made me forget I was reading it in english. each point can be made in 30-40% of the time, I enjoyed 12 rules the first time around, a re-read and the new book have made me question
  6. and last but not least, the gummint

Didn't realize you were such a man of culture when it comes to MMA. Biggest point of agreement for me is the beach chairs.

Care to elaborate on point 5? why did a reread of 12 rules make you not enjoy it as much anymore? I like some of his ideas based on his talks, but haven't read his books yet

I think it's a cognitive bias more than anything, I was being a little catty and sarcastic in the above, I still love the lessons JBP has said, despite his biggest critique being they aren't new ideas (news flash, no good ideas are new)

I started reading beyond order and it was good for a bit but then it felt like he was just rambling through each passage, it read kinda like a JRE podcast which is fine in that format but not so much for literature in my opinion. the 2nd time I was reading 12 rules was in a different language and sometimes when something isn't read in the original language it can read a little clunky (though for some reason NNT translations by the same company don't have this issue), so maybe that was it.

my main point is this - one of seneca's best works (shortness of life) can be read in less than an hour (<50 pages), JBP can make his point in less pages

Dana should have a separate "premium" circuit for the Conor vs. Mayweather vs. Jake Paul type events and a cheaper circuit for the rest. Separate those who want spectacle from those who love the sport.
