Thoughts on Rogo

What are y'all's thoughts on Rogo? Have seen it come up a bunch in my LI feed esp. after Excel plug-in and Felix product. Would love to know if it's worth the hype

yah would love to know why you think this. curious if it's a Felix-specific thing or like the whole agentic approach just doesn't work for IB stuff? feels like these tools are just bad at knowing when to stop and ask vs. just run.

We use it and we churned from it after ~1 year. The platform is the most overhyped piece of shit I've ever used. Total hype from a nepo founder... literally

Rogo is pretty much a Claude wrapper, which is fine. but they did a such terrible job with optimization and context engineering. It drives me crazy how slow it is and how much horseshit it spits out(again, they screwed with the sources snd style of responses too much and it’s not token efficient and context decays overtime). I use copilot on teams mostly

Too close to the heart…. This thing is utterly useless for most things — especially research. The only thing it can do, if you have unlimited time, is pull data from FactSet / CapIQ and a few handpicked sources…. Totally useless from VP upwards.   We have Rogo and Copilot+GPT and privately I have Claude Pro — it’s not even close…

At a bank with Rogo. 12 months ago it was a mid GPT wrapper, now the features are getting good and starting to scare me. Ultimately will be interesting to see how it gets integrated in workflow (given it sits on top) vs potentially more native tools.

It’s more that I see the future of what it will do, not so much that its capabilities are currently frightening. FWIW I was top bucket this past year lol…

the product is so overrated. Claude can destroy Rogo in an instant if they wanted to

It's one of only a few tools we have access to right now, so it is great compared to nothing. I agree that Felix stepped up their game quite a bit and has made my life much better, but... from a product perspective, I have a hard time seeing how Anthropic doesn't just snap their fingers and eliminate them some day. Customer success team is carrying hard
