2 weeks after Private Equity debrief session. Being nervous.

Hello folks,

I applied to Canadian pension funds PE direct team(incl. coinvest) analyst role 2.5 months ago and gone through 5 times of interviews including final 3hr case study and its debrief session.

I believe the debrief session, which i did exactly 2 weeks ago, was the last step before any applicant recieve a final offer, but I haven't heard anything back from HR yet.

One thing to note is that director told me that it can take up to weeks before i hear anything back, but honestly i suddenly found myself to become nervous from today's morning.

I think i didn't do well(maybe ruined?) at the case study debrief session, but MD told me that i am the right fit for the job at the previous interview.

Do you think it is worth sending a gentle reminder to HR? or Should I be more patient?

It took a month after application for 1st HR interview and another 3 weeks for 2nd round of interview, but 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds of interview notices arrived pretty quickly within 2-3 days.

Thanks for reading!
