Accessing PE funds through Moonfare and similar
Just catching up on the news and found a platform that gives retail investors access to a variety of PE funds.
Min investments typically $50-125k, access to funds from well-resourced PE shops such as Ares and H.I.G.
Lock up period typically 10yrs
Net IRR ~20%
Anyone invested in a platform like this?
Hey 2rigged2fail, I swear if I had a silver banana for every lonely thread I posted too I'd be richer than @compbanker ...

You're welcome.
Is this a secondary PE shop?
You have to ask yourself if the double layer of fees is worth it to you, while also taking into account whatever illiquidity premium you should factor in when looking at returns (assuming this is some sort of traditional FoF structure).
Moonfare also runs its own secondary market where users can sell stakes so not that illiquid
