Advent investment thesis

Any thoughts on Advent’s investment thesis? Understood that they are mostly supporting growth of the businesses they invest in and seem less focused on operational improvements vs other funds. Do you agree? Any other points?

Is there anyone from Advent that could comment on how it feels to be working there (culture, deals etc)? I am in real estate so I am not really interested in this for the recruitment process but I just follow the news and I saw some recent deals that they closed including Zimmerman. I wonder what it’s like to be working on such deals? Do you get a lot of exposure as an associate to meet the founders etc or do you just spend all the time glued to your desk updating your excel model in which you don’t care whether it is a fashion company or any other company.
