Advice for people moving from IB/PE to strategic finance/corp-dev

Hi all,

I left an EB about a year ago as an analyst in M&A. Had to take some time off due to some personal issues but now have returned from the abyss and am starting a role at in corp dev/strategic finance at a large tech-company. I'm pretty well-versed in financial modeling but was wondering if anyone who has made that transition would have advice for courses to take, skills to brush up on, etc. So far, thinking about definitely refreshing excel skills, doing some SAAS KPIs and financial modeling practice - but anything to learn in terms of financial reporting, accounting, etc?

Really appreciate it.
