Alpine Investors - Need Info

Hey everyone,

So basically Im looking to break into PE and saw that Alpine has been making a name for themselves and I've read quite a bit of positives about their internship program. That being said, I got selected for their interviews for a Summer Analyst - Sourcing role which I'd imagine in their firm has a good amount of deal involvement as they stated.

Anyone have experience in sourcing or know much about Alpine and can give me some background from personal or by ear experiences?

Sourcing isn’t really PE (that’s why the investing role is a separate position), and Alpine is a fine lower middle market firm but nothing special. They primarily hire out of undergrad and promote from there so none of the more pedigreed people from BB/EB banking and MBB consulting end up there. Low comp but Weaver seems like a great dude, so I’m guessing culture is very good.
