Are there truly any all star ops staff in PE?
My firm has had a virtually rotating door when it comes to fund accountants. We pay them above market but their work quality is crap. Curious if it is even possible to find an ops/finance person that is actually decent these days?!?
Investment Ops at Ares pays very well with 8-6pm hours or better, but you would need some form of an S&T background (I would think).

Ops directly supporting the salespeople and traders I assume, trade reconciliation, treasury management etc. Ops typically work quite closely with the S&T guys.
