Associate recruiting for growth equity?
Thinking of lateraling to another firm but given how tight knit the growth equity industry is I’m afraid my firm will find out pretty quickly. Haven’t seen a ton of companies hiring right now - any thoughts on what the recruiting market looks like for growth equity and if there is an opportune time where there will be more firms looking for associates?
Depends. How long have you been at your seat? I’d be a bit cautious given how informally it can come up between seniors in different firms
Roughly 3 years, I started as an analyst - that is my concern given I know we have a lot of connectivity across firms
