Average MM PE VP Comp
Just wondering what the average MM PE VP all-in comp one would expect? Obviously can vary widely but at an average performing MM fund for an average performing VP? What salary and bonus is fair to expect?

400-500 all in for MM depending on fund size. Would say closer to 1B fund size, looking more like 400k. Closer to 5/6B, looking more like 500. Lower mm funds will be 300-400, and MF 500+

Agree with this, nice simplification
Generally correct, only thing I'd mention is that fund size and geography matter a lot. New York firms pay close to market because of the cost of living. In a tier 2 city, it's less likely you'll see figures that are quite as high.
I'd leverage recruiters to get the most accurate figures. If you're just trying to get a general sense, the reports will work fine. If you have an offer and want to make sure it's market, ping a recruiter you know and ask them for same level offers in the same tier of city. Best way to get a really accurate representation of what comp is/should be.
Personal datapoint: $1.5B fund, $450k cash (200+250) + 1% carry.
VP 1 at MF is typically like 550-700K salary + bonus and what amounts to $4-6mm carry assuming 2x MoM. I think the other added financial benefits are co-invest opportunities with cheap leverage. Pretty attractive if you end up making VP in late 20s.
This is not accurate. Too high
Not true.
Megafund (Bain Capital) VP 1 who was loved was paid $550k all in cash and carry was $2.5mm assuming a 2x MoM.
Sr VP in LMM/MM (Europe). €185k + €185k + 1% carry (€3-4m if 2x). No mandatory fund investment. Free to co-invest on deals but no leverage provided. Great W/L balance.
Are you guys hiring ^^
What's the fund size?
Somewhere in $500k to $550k range for VP1 cash comp with ~$4mm of carry at 2x MoM at UMM
Congrats - this is a very sweet carry at work figure.
