Have an interview with these guys in the near future for an associate position. Anyone have any insights into what "sets them apart" and anything special about their interview process?
Thanks in advance!

What role do consultants get hired into at BC Partners? (Originally Posted: 10/25/2017)
Someone today was telling me that BC is a consultant friendly shop. I am trying to get a sense for if they are one of the firms that hires consultants to do operational work, or if they are a fund where consultants are regular associates insofar as they're not precluded from deal team track.
iamfromcanada, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:

You're welcome.

All you have to do is look at their site.
There are currently three associates in the New York office on the equity side (not credit). All three came from a strong banking group, and one did two years in PE at another shop before joining.
There are eight associates in the London office. More than half of them had experience as a consultant before joining the investment team.
Should have known to check just like that. Thanks for the patient explanation.
