Best resources to undestand PE investors better as a consultant?

Hey. I am at a MBB and recently involed in a lot of CDDs for financial sponsors. I have a good grasp on corporate finance, yet I still want to learn more about PE. Particularly interested in the whole deal process (i.e. how are deals sourced, how are investment committees set up, what does the team need to provide for ICs etc., how do PE investors value firms).

What would be your go to ressources without purchasing courses for >500 USD

Thank you very much!
