Hi everyone, what's the bonus cycle for megafunds? If you're joining on-cycle in Jul/Aug, do you get your first "stub" bonus in Dec/Jan? Is it usually pro-rated?
How much is the signing bonus and salary for PE/PC associates nowadays? IB ASO pay is $175K at my firm

Yes, bonus cycle for most firms seems to be end of December. Your first bonus will be pro-rated for the time you have been with the company unless you have negotiated differently (at my firm there were a few that did not want to be reimbursed for their foregone banking bonus but rather wanted a full year bonus with the new firm).
You won't make $175k in base at most of the MFs.
