Breaking into HF/PE post H/S MBA with only IB Experience?
Absolute top ranked A2A at a top US BB (GS) in a top group. Is it within my volition to get a Top MF PE Associate (not VP) or Top HF analyst role post-MBA without any prior buyside experience.
The only important differentiator here is that I am very URM and have had quite a compelling life story. I imagine as long as I can get in front of a HF recruiter during on-campus recruiting and truly 'deserve' it, it shouldn't be impossible?
