Breaking into IB after a Summer PE internship
Hi all,
I'm currently a rising senior (at a non-target, 3.9 GPA) interning at a tech-focused MM PE firm. I've gotten good exposure to both sell-side and buy-side transactions + a host of operational exposure to the port cos. Unfortunately, the firm I'm currently with doesn't offer FT opportunities for people coming out of undergrad, as all of the associates at the firm come in with 2+ years of IB experience.
I'm wondering what's the best path for me to break into IB at any level. Is it realistic? Are there other paths that I should look into?
Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated
