BX REPE 27SA Superday

Just did the RE Acquisitions superday on Friday but had to do interviews on zoom due to travel difficulties, so was curious what people's experience was like in person. Also were there morning and afternoon rounds since it's 9-5pm (heard half get cut after morning from previous years but not sure if thats true for RE this year as well)? I only did 4 back to back and HR told me to wait for status updates next week and I'm not sure what that means. Has anyone already got offer or know what the process is usually like atp?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know about BX REPE Superday processes:

  1. Superday Structure:

    • Historically, BX has conducted multiple superdays for their REPE roles. If they don't find suitable candidates in one round, they may organize another to scout more talent.
    • In previous years, the process included morning and afternoon rounds, with a cut after the morning session. However, this may vary year to year, and there’s no confirmation if this structure was followed for RE this year.
  2. Interview Format:

    • Typically, candidates face 4 interviews in a row, starting with analysts/associates and then progressing to senior-level professionals. This aligns with your experience of 4 back-to-back interviews.
    • Mental math and resume knowledge are key areas to focus on, as technical questions are generally not overly tricky.
  3. Post-Superday Updates:

    • HR informing you to wait for status updates next week is standard. It usually means they are still deliberating or finalizing decisions. Offers may not be immediate, as they often take time to review all candidates.
  4. Offer Timelines:

    • Some candidates have reported receiving offers shortly after the superday, while others had to wait longer. If you haven’t heard back yet, it doesn’t necessarily indicate a negative outcome.

If you’re still waiting, stay patient and prepared for any follow-up communication. Good luck!

I applied for RE AM. Applied a month ago and did pymetrics/digital interview 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard back. Were there rounds in between your superday?

I had a quantitative assessment and r1 in between and then superday a few days after, but I’m not sure if AM is same timeline

Has anyone heard from this? Doing my R1 today, and don't know what to expect in terms of techs. Doing the quantitative assessment on Thurs (2/19), and I also don't know what to expect there. Is anyone able to shed some light?
