Canada - PE Headhunters

Who are the current headhunters for Canadian PE firms?

TorQuest uses Collins Clairvest and Novacap use Vlaad Birch Hill and the pensions seems to run their own recruiting

What about Onex, ONCAP (they ran their own process a few years ago, but haven’t seen postings last year), Altas, Northleaf, Brookfield (seems like a mix of internal and GoBuySide), others?

I’m going to defend you here before you get ms. Yeah they do have PE because they are private funds but I get where you’re coming from. they’re not going to be exiting their investments within their portfolios, due to the economic nature of Canada. A PE firm in the US that emulate the Canadian PE investment style is shore capital in Chicago, as they tend to focus on micro cap investments and don’t hit their IRR targets through the exiting their investments.
