Capital Formation/ IR Firms
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to break into the Private Real Estate/ PE world & interviewing for some IR/ Capital Formation roles. Have a background in an adjacent industry performing an almost identical function and am curious about the internal environments of some of the larger firms- think Blackstone, Brookfield, Starwood, KKR, etc.
Have any of you had experience working at the above or similar firms? Would love to know what it’s been like for you: - culture - ramp up timeline - upward mobility opportunities - which teams get the most visibility - most active asset classes - anything helpful you can shed light on that I can’t find online
Bump
There are a lot of threads on IR on here so I'd recommend doing a search to get some intel. Most of your questions will vary significantly by firm.
That said, IR -> investing is not a likely scenario at any firm, so if that is your priority I would look somewhere else.
This is such a lazy post.
