Career advice needed. Finally got a breakthrough but can’t leverage it. What’s next?

Based in Europe, doing a working gap year between first and second year of mim at a tier 0 business school. Currently wrapping up an internship in corporate and recently scored an MBB off cycle internship (PE team). Too late to leverage that for summer recruiting in top banks/funds and stuck not knowing what to do. Goal is to do turnaround PE in an MF or HF. Should I just enjoy my summer and recruit for graduate programs/internships next year or look for way less prestigious opportunities broadly in finance to stack up experience?
