Carlyle, TPG, Apollo 2021 PE Analyst Programs?
Do Carlyle, TPG, and Apollo hire PE Analysts straight out of undergraduate? Does anybody know if they are doing 2021 Analyst recruiting like Blackstone, KKR, Warburg, Bain Capital etc.?

I know TPG has hired analysts in the past, but through an ad-hoc, unstructured way.
Are these through nepotism or possibly through normal networking - wondering if possible for someone without existing networks to break into it
Is this recent?
What are the interview questions like for the unstructured process?
Thanks - what about Carlyle, Apollo?
Carlyle doesn’t have an analyst program
Carlyle used to have a program through their middle market fund. They would hire one analyst every two years. They discontinued this last year (last hire was in 2018).
Similarly, Apollo only hires for credit and real estate out of undergrad, at least this used to be the case (not sure if this is still happening).
Thanks for this insight! Do you have any idea if TPG is still hiring Analysts for PE even if it is an unstructured program?
What about WP? There's one person from my school headed to WP as an analyst but no idea how she got it.
Warburg takes a select few analysts. We had one last year at our non-ivy target but he was also a god.
Don’t they also recruit heavily from that collegiate group Global Platinum Securities?
Is this UVA? Have heard he dominated there
Warburg takes applications from the typical targets for full-time. Typically takes 2ish at the analyst level. A lot of Penn grads at the shop and it shows for their typical analyst intake.
Is it really only 2? I've heard it as high as 4 or 5
They actively prioritize girls (not a separate track, just easier interviews / save 1-2 slots for them) however any school they've hired a girl from they're willing to hire guys from - simply expecting a different level (given more competition among guys). Girl was probably top if she got it from a school they don't normally hire from.
Makes sense - for anyone interested, went through linkedin, here is a list of schools they hire from, in terms of frequency - interesting to see no Harvard kids have made it...
Anyone have similar information know about KKR or BX? Only found one KKR analyst (from Wharton) and three BX analysts (Harvard, Wharton, Georgetown).
Warburg recruits heavily out of Penn, namely GPS and SSG group of the finance org WITG. I know that WP has two incoming analysts in both of those orgs, and they're both smart af. Also, the current 1y analyst in the group has the same exact track record, so maybe it's a trend
Is there some requirement to be in both groups? Or are those people in just one or maybe even in some other group of WITG?
Page from last year - expect the same places: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/pe-firm-2020-whose-still-open?pa…
Anyone have updates on WP / BX / Ares? Have networked with analysts at all 3 in my preferred groups but haven't been given any specific dates yet
Isn't Ares in August?
Interested in knowing as well
