PE Firm 2020 Whose Still Open
Anyone know who is still taking apps for PE recruiting for full time 2020? I know Silver Lake and Blackstone still are. Don't know if Warburg and KKR are done (happy for any updates) and want to know more firms that are recruiting.
Only Warburg and KKR have kicked off their processes. Every other firm is either just starting or hasn't opened yet.
Heard KKR FIG is giving final rounds too
.
Is there a thread/does anyone know about Blackstone SA 2020?
This is more for after college but I know they do recruit
nick_g PM me if you are curious about BX SA Process
What is pay for kkr? I hear pay for Worburg and Blackstone is much lower than top banks
Heard KKR gonna pay 95+105, so they are competitive with top banks (Evc, PJT). Clearly a bump over Warburg who pays much less, but recruits early to lock in analysts
Why pay less than banks? Aren't PE more profitable
Mainly what @laka said below about the prestige plus a recent lack of options. When BX and WP were the only megafunds hiring, they could choose to pay as much as they wanted. I expect them to up the pay for the 2020 analysts based on KKR paying more given they want to remain competitive.
what is WP pay?
Did u learn what it was
This means 95 first year and 105 second?
95 base 105 bonus
Is that a sign-on bonus or annual bonus?
That's obviously annual bonus don't be retarded
Because it’s more prestigious, fewer hrs at times, etc.
Does Carlyle recruit?
I know Warburg KKR Blackstone Blackrock Apollo SilverLake recruit
Realize this is full-time, anyone know about SA at any PE firms still going or starting soon?
Most are done, KKR doesnt recruit SA
Anyone hear back from special situations
Are these updated for An1
Blackstone 130 Vista 130 Bain 180 Warburg 180 Silver Lake 190 KKR 205
Who else hires what do they pay
Vista is closer to 180/190 all in for An1
This is dishonest - that's for top analysts, average person getting ~150
Apollo (no hires for PE) $190K
are u saying ppl non PE an1 getting 190? like credit investing or something? that’s so high for that wtf
Why are a lot of these lower than top EBs like EVR and PJT? Aren't these offers harder to get?
Significantly harder to get than IB jobs, there are drastically fewer positions and practically every top ib applicant applies. Pay is lower from a combination of the firms knowing you will work for them for less because of the prestige/reputation of the firms and also because you are often times (there are exceptions) working far fewer hours and therefore afforded a much healthier lifestyle
