CB LevFin Sponsor Finance to Private Credit

I am just about three years into my career in banking (where the first two years were spent in a formal credit training program). I have two years experience in our levfin sponsor finance group. I have my performance review in the coming weeks and believe I am eligible for a promotion, but not 100% sure. I have extensive deal experience and have been recently getting live reps on a few amendments. My modeling skills are above average, but nothing amazing (at least to my standards, but I’m always told I’m doing just fine by my senior bankers — I just have high standards as most of us do).

Promotion or not, what are some things I can bring up during my performance review that will position me to get a bigger role on the team? Niche skillsets, super-user on databases/modeling, etc. I want to create some sort of moat around myself at the firm. Additionally, if I don’t receive a promotion and there isn’t much clear guidance on how to get there… do I entertain looking elsewhere for the jump from A to A?
