I'm an associate at a private credit fund covering healthcare and I thought it would be nice to get to know other associates/VPs covering the sector in PE and credit. Some of this is done naturally working on deals but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to cold email people. Has anyone received a cold email for a phone call/coffee chat (that are not looking for jobs)? Would you think it is weird if you received one?
