Decent Offer to Leave my MF for?
I have spent 2 years in IB now at a 2nd year in my MF PE gig and I am so miserable and depressed holy shit. I feel like I still have some "gas" in the tank, and can still push it and keep recruiting, but I have a pretty solid offer now I may take. Its a startup and I was quoted hours should be ~55-60 a week for an all in of $280k-$320k.
I haven't been in the market or sniffed around at all. I feel like most corporate development / strategy gigs are paying $150k-$180k all in? Is this offer an anomaly?
In startups. First off, congrats! Second, take it and run. Then promptly tell all of us where exactly you surfaced this offer. This is solidly above market - assuming AI and/or a bit later-stage?
This is literally market (low actually) for any name brand AI lab or neocloud.
All in number so I assume the quoted comp includes equity at the last round’s valuation?
