Didn’t get anything for oncycle or off cycle but I don’t want to do a third year

Interviewed at some places for on cycle and off cycle but wasn’t able to land anything for 2024. With on cycle for 2025 around the corner, I don’t really want to do a third year in banking. Does anyone have any advice to navigate this? Once oncycle 2025 kicks off, am I out of luck of getting roles for 2024? Would appreciate any help.

2024 roles are still going to be available, although not at top tier, competitive places. You should be in communication with headhunters regarding opportunities for 2024 offcycle and make a decision based on what they are seeing is available in the market. With low deal flow and fundraising, I would expect a tougher offcycle than prior years
