Do I have shot of getting in?

I couldn't find a great thread on my question so any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am in the asset management and underwriting department of a REIT. I am starting to wonder what opportunities could be available to me outside of the real estate industry. I do a lot of excel work (modeling and financial statement analysis) and also some due diligence when we have underwriting assignments. I am also a CFA L2 candidate. Would I have any shot at getting into PE? If not, what are some areas that may be best suited for me? Thanks in advance for any help.
