Do you guys show economic returns on your CV?
quick and dirty for this one - just like the title, do you guys list financial economic returns on your CV on complete transactions you've worked on? ie. Sale of portfolio company X - realized >%IRR and > MOI
Hi Big5Rep, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...
Or maybe the following pros can chime in... More Leverage greyhound.bklyn @Killian2"
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
My robot overlord has called and I must answer. No I would not list those returns figures on your resume unless they are public knowledge.
No, but if I was prepping for interviews I would know them in case someone asked about the performance of the business. Otherwise I would stick to knowing the transaction well.
When it comes down to it, were you really the one that drove x% growth, y% increase in EBITDA, and a 5x return? Probably not.
If you are someone at a junior level, this does not make sense - it is unlikely the return is a consequence of your efforts...
However, knowing the numbers (and being able to talk intelligently about it) will be perfect.
