Curious to hear what the general monthly or yearly breakdown would be for say a small PE firm (5-20 people) with decent-sized fund / AUM.
Anyone know estimates of either their own or a friend’s group? What would be key items and what is the breakdown like for specific items?

Think about it the same way you would think about any other services business. There is no real product so there are no costs to produce revenue. You have people costs, so heads multiplied by fully loaded comp, rent, other operating costs, taxes, etc.
You can reasonably estimate all of those items.
Also financial services licensing cost and placement agent costs
