Family health emergency during live deal during Associate program
Have you ever had am family member's health deteriorate notably during a live deal (and also potentially requiring you to give them some amount of your time in-person) during your associate program?
I'm cognizant of being *just* before business school recs are written but I'm not willing to neglect my family for someone else to get rich.
What do you do during these situations?

Companies should reserve private time for these emergencies. line managers and team leads are normally trained to handle situations like these and you'll normally get emergency leave.
We had health emergencies within our senior team due to Covid and other health issues before, someone will step in and handle the additional work load.

ALWAYS tend to family health emergencies. Try to give a small heads up, but if they give you crap - it’s a sign to gtfo that place. Any normal group will step up around you for support
Taking care of most important people in your life vs. being a replaceable Excel jockey that no one cares about. Seems like a difficult choice to make.
Don't ask your managers for a 'permission', just inform them you will be taking time off. If they don't like it, leave. No job, I repeat - NO JOB - should go above your friends, family and personal health.
