Fellow PE Associates - what is your favorite Sales/BD automation software?

Was asked to put a write up together for outlining why my fund should get a subscription to an email automation platform. I've read some good reviews but I'm admittedly not familiar with all the players in this space and their various feature sets. Platforms that pop up and look interesting to me are:

Can I get some recommendations from users for other software worth taking a look at?

Would love it even more if you could tell me what you like about the software you currently use/have used vs any of the other vendors.

Just so happens that I've been evaluating the same stuff. From the research I've done, I like Outreach.io the most. We haven't bought yet but it looks the most built-out.

Also RingDNA looked decent.

FWIW, Salesloft only sells a minimum of 3 or maybe 5 seats, I forget. So if your team is small (like us), they won't even talk to you.

Thanks for the response. All fair points, and appreciate the note on Salesloft luckily we hit the edge there. Could you elaborate on what you mean by built out with regard to Outreach.io?

I guess it depends on what you're using the product for and how your firm operates. I should say that Outreach fit the best with us given the features they had and what we were looking for.

Outreach was also the first well-funded/venture-backed player in 'sales engagement' so there's that too. I think they've far outraised the other guys you are looking at with the exception of Salesloft. So, reasonable to say they have had more R&D dollars spent on their product?

Outreach also had the most integrations that we saw so that'll depend on how much software your firm uses on the BD front.
