FIG PE

I am interested in the FIG space primarily and am going to be interning at a mid-tier BB. Based on what I read from here, FIG seems to restrict you to some extent for regular PE exits, so just want to ask some questions regarding what kind of firms/roles analysts at a mid-tier BB in FIG end up buy-side-wise. I am honestly fine with FIG-specific shops as well but just want to get a general sense of how the analyst class for FIG places given the restrictive nature of the exits.
