Generalist PE associate programs?
Curious which private equity firms have a generalist associate program (MF, UMM, GE)? Thank you in advance.

Lindsay Goldberg has a generalist program. Madison Dearborn is, or at least starts off as generalist. Think Berkshire and Centerbridge are as well but not 100% sure.
Edit: Looks like Berkshire has shifted its model based on the comment below.
Apollo, Blackstone

MF: Apollo, Blackstone, H&F; UMM: Ares (think they do a rotation), CD&R, BDT, MDP, LGP, AmSec, NMC, LG. I'm sure there are many more, but these are just the ones off the top of my head
I've seen this several times on WSO and want to clarify-- Berkshire PE is not generalist model and has been verticalized for at least a few years. Stockbridge (Berkshire's public investing arm), however, is a generalist model at the junior level. Have a good friend who works there
