Growth Equity to Corp Dev

For those of you working in corporate development at large tech firms, is there any bias against hiring from growth equity vs private equity? For some context, I’m currently in a tech PE role but haven’t had the best experience given the market conditions so looking to pivot into growth and then Corp dev later down the road.

There’s a reason for doing this vs jumping straight into Corp dev I’d rather not disclose to remain anonymous.
