GS TMT/FIG vs MS M&A vs EB (EVR,PJT M&A) MF PE placement
Have a 2024 SA offer at one of the groups listed above for my junior summer. When I start to think about full-time recruiting, I def want to go into MF PE, ideally at a firm like BX or WP. Are all these firms viewed the same by headhunters or should I be focusing my efforts on one or two in particular?
Anecdotally M&A at MS has placed everyone within 48 hours of oncycle for the past 3 years all at UMM / MF
2022: WP, TA, Stonepeak, H&F, BX, KKR, TPG,
2021: H&F, TPG, CD&R, MDP, BainCap
2020: H&F, KKR, Apollo, TPG (2), Carlyle, Permira
