Healthcare PE Capstone Project Questions

Hi, I'm working on a capstone research project where my partner and I are building a model to identify publicly traded healthcare companies that would make good PE acquisition targets. I've done some preliminary research and have started looking at metrics like EV/EBITDA for valuation and A/R days, market fragmentation (% of independent practices in a region), and payer mix for transformation potential.

Does anyone have experience with healthcare PE specifically? I'm curious whether those are the right metrics to focus on, or if there are more important signals PE firms actually use when evaluating targets.
