Houston PE Associate Recruiting Winter 2020
I've received inbounds regarding recruiting kicking off for 3 different Houston PE firms (energy / O&G) all within the last 10 days. Does anyone have an idea if most shops are going to try to complete their processes before Christmas / yearend, or if certain firms have already wrapped up? If so, I figured it's worth reaching out to a few of the other names that I haven't heard from as well. For the avoidance of doubt, I don't think these processes are correlated to first-year "on-cycle recruiting". All the inbounds I've received have been geared towards targeting 2nd-3rd year analysts for immediate hire or summer 2021.
Bump. I was told by recruiters that first rounds would likely be happening the week after Thanksgiving for two of the 2 processes I've been looped in on.
