Ignore title: currently entering my 2nd year as an associate at a MM PE firm. As luck would have it, I only have 1 closed transaction and the bulk of my work has been overseeing existing investments. Fortunately, I was pretty involved with the closed transaction and can speak in depth on the work-streams, but if I want to lateral to a different firm, will it hurt me that I really haven’t closed anything?
