How to turn down interviews during on-cycle

Let's say on-cycle kicks off next Friday and a HH reaches out with an interview request. But it's for a specific fund we don't want, what is the right way to phrase the wording of turning down an interview? Don't want to the HHs to think I'll just start turning everything down in which case they would stop showing me opportunities

Be direct. Don’t take interviews you wouldn’t accept, with concurrent processes, that just crowds out real opportunities. Tell headhunters explicitly what you’re not interested in, or better yet, which firms on their list you would take for on-cycle. Their incentive is to place you anywhere, so if you’re vague or too polite, they’ll keep pushing. The downside is entirely yours.

If you receive an interview you're not interested in, can you reply to the email / phone call saying 'thank you but I'm currently prioritizing [client 1, client 2 of the HH]'? Or does the interview invite represent that HH's 'choice' for you?
