In-Office Politics
Are politics (Democrat/Republican) openly discussed in the day to day at your fund? Located in the northeast and as expected, most lean left. There is frequent and open disdain for any viewpoint that does not align with the party. There were check-ins for how we were feeling after the Trump nomination, and anti-Trump material had made its way into marketing materials for LPs. Is this normal for the region?
