In Person Modeling Test - Portable Monitor + Wireless Keyboard?
Hey Everyone,
As title suggests, when completing an in-person modeling test where the firm supplies a laptop, is it acceptable to bring your own portable monitor and keyboard? Looking to max efficiency here for a Pe modeling test I have tomorrow.
Would love to know if anyone has ever seen this or if it is frowned upon.
Thanks
I’ve sat in rooms with 2 monitors, did they explicitly say it will be just a laptop
Yes
Bring it then
If it's easy to set up and doesn't burn precious model test time, nothing to lose. Firms would be more concerned with genuine cheating (getting help from someone, coming with a template, etc.). Efficiency hacks show preparedness if anything. I personally wouldn't care if you had it.
In a similar situation - thinking it would also be a Hardo move posting up with my keyboard with select keys removed for maximum speed and efficiency.
Only cons I'm thinking of is the ability to be flexible and work with what you have to get the job done.
