Interview timing
I had an interview for a VP/ Principal level at a PE firm. First round was recruiter, next one was with a Partner. Meeting went great, Partner emailed me that night to say he really enjoyed the convo and looks forward to exploring the opp further and that they’ll be in touch soon.
It’s been 2 weeks since then and haven’t heard anything. I sent a gentle checking in email to a recruiter 3 days ago that hasn’t responded to me.
I’m in other processes too, but this firm is my priority. If I didn’t have that email from Partner after that round I’d be sure I’m out of the picture, but with it, I’m just confused.
Should I follow up with recruiter again? Go direct to firm? Just let it go and move on?
