So I've been looking at finding more information on infrastructure. Since from what I've gathered most of it is funded by PE firms or Government it seems finding updates/development is difficult.
I'm interested in all aspects of infrastructure and was wondering if you guys have any links to good blogs or twitter feeds covering the sector.
I'd also be interested in analyst covering any of it as well.

Are you looking for primers or some kind of news feed to keep up with movements in the space?
When I was trying to get smart on the infrastructure I found the following two methodologies of getting news to be quite helpful:
1) Use investext to get high level insight on specific corners of the sector:
Many of the banks will publish an infrastructure sector outlook that will cover a wide range of industries at a high level. As I’m sure you’re aware, the term infrastructure is thrown around quite loosely and covers a number of different industries (e.g. ports, airports, roads, bridges, gas transmission, power & utilities, renewables, etc.). Your search parameters are going to give you something a lot more specific if you know what you’re looking for. Also, many of these industries have publicly traded players, so leverage analyst reports on these companies for commentary on the industry. For example, if you’re interested in toll roads, there are a number of banks that cover SNC Lavalin (they own a chunk of the 407ETR, which is one of the main toll roads in Canada).
2) If you’re looking for news use your preferred platform to set up alerts on publicly traded companies referenced above: For example, let's say you want to learn about utilities. There are a bunch of publicly traded utilities that you can follow, which will keep you up to date on M&A activity, pending rate cases, etc.
Agreed that there tends to be a lot less coverage on P3’s from traditional news outlets. Inframation News and Infrastructure Investor are paid platforms that are probably what you’re looking for (updates on P3/Infrastructure hit your inbox daily). I think you can sign up for Infrastructure Investor and they will send headlines to your inbox. You won’t be able to read the articles unless you pay a few thousand $, but at least you’ll get updates when something major happens.
