Investment strategy at Infrastructure fund

I was just wondering if anyone knew much about an investment strategy role at an infra funds?

Came across the following role as an example at GIC in the Global Investments, Strategy and Risk team

Wondering if this was more like a middle office role? Or could the experience be translatable into infra direct PE?
