Is it possible to be a generalist in the private markets?
Hello everyone
This question has been on my mind for some time and obviously I am not going to get a better answer myself than from the OSM community.
Is it possible to be a generalist in private markets? Like having a decent understanding of different products and move between them (credit, equities, real estate, infra, etc) or should one specialise oneself at the beginning of one's career?
Yes, you can be an LP and do exactly that.
