Jacket and tie for Growth Interview?
Might be a dumb question but next week I have an interview with a growth fund on zoom. It’s with a principal but it’s through zoom. I just want to make sure I don’t over dress / under dress. Thanks!
Ymmv, but if they have photos on the website team page, can check attire there for vibe. Otherwise, I usually default to tie if NYC/northeast and jacket/no tie for Chicago, SF, Dallas, etc. when dressing for clients/pitches.

NYC. Saw the teams page and almost everyone is with a jacket but no tie. Ultimately, if I get a final interview in person then I would wear a tie but not sure if a tie would be too much for zoom.
Is it growth buyout or true growth equity? For the life of me I've never seen a team page on which people are even wearing suits.

Skip the tie - you’ll seem out of place (you wouldn’t meet a potential investment wearing a tie either).
