KKR - CPG (Client Partner Group) - Insights

Hi, 

Does anyone have any insights into CPG (Client Partner Group) at KKR? I have tried looking this up online, but the information is very vague. I understand it is essentially an IR role, but it seems like there are some differences to compared to a traditional IR role.
