what is a great LBO candidates in terms of financial performance and also the market that they operate in.

And the same question but this time more specifically for a PE that invest in IT, Healthcare and Bakery industries.

That I guess, is the million dollar question (if the carry arrangement works out :-)).

  • Chapter 5-6 of Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers & Acquisitions by Rosembaum, Pearl et al. will introduce the basics and generalised ideas.
  • Any of the wall street oasis courses are a good resource as well.

From there, apply these ideas to companies you want to research. Good luck
