Let’s talk specific deals...

Hi all,

I think this forum can get more specific in terms of what deals/industries the company you’re working at have previously done and are looking to do.

A few questions would be

1)what made your firm target a specific company? What do you look for in a businesses? What metrics, growth, multiples etc.

2)what makes a good buying opportunity in today’s environment of elevated pricing. What’s your firms strategy in making a return for their investors?

3) give specific insight on your most recent deals and the most interesting things you’ve encountered throughout the process.

Hopefully this can be helpful for outsiders like myself who want to learn more about PE through people who have first hand experience.

Basically, learning about your company’s investment criteria and what makes the boss signs off on the deal.
