Los Angeles Private Equity firms

I'm currently a junior in college looking for private equity internships in Los Angeles. I can't seem to find many places that have summer internships for college students. I know Los Angeles isn't huge on private equity but I do know that there are a number of big firms there (Ares, Apollo, etc.) What are some firms that I should have on my radar (big firms, boutique, etc.) that might offer summer internships to college students. I have relevant experience at a boutique NYC PE firm and go to an Ivy League school

Arrowroot has issues, of course. It's a small firm (AUM of only 480m) and their latest fund only raised 102m of a 315m target. And their third fund was larger...not a good sign at all.

I think it is common sense to expect a group with this fundraising profile to not pay well. Probably not because they don't want to but because there isn't the $ to go around. Hard to raise a Fund V after this trajectory unless you go to an independent sponsor model.
